Signed by the author on the title page. Reportedly only1,000 copies issued by Cape from US sheets. Midnight’s Children won the 1981 Booker Prize and, in 1993, the Booker of Bookers Prize as the best novel to receive the award in the first 25 years of its existence and is undoubtedly Rushdie’s magnum opus.
Condition of the book: Small faint dampstain to top edge of text block, board corners lightly worn. A good copy in a wrapper with extensive fading to spine panel (as is common with this book), but includes the original price of £6.95.
